RUR arm guards/bayonettes

A gratuitous pocket watch picture, for Patty, and for all the pocket watch problems in rehearsals. These are prelims of the armguards. Pamela is hot gluing some pieces of a drawer liner found on clearance in the Home Depot clearance room. The blue is just a piece of shop towel, glued over th arm guard shape (which is the industrial felt and Elmer's glue).

Below is the "insides" of the arm guard, before it is all caulked together.

This is the sandwich of the industrial felt, caulking and toy sword (modified sheath and sword) (found at the Dollar Tree), which when together and strapped to the arm, made a very convincing "stabbing" bayonette.

And, the bayonette arm on stage, with sword extended.
