The felting circle!
This was a class exercise on how felt is made. They used some rambouillet wool and felted a small piece about 8"x8", just to figure out the process. The reason? So we could then understand the post after this, and how that felt was made, only on a much larger scale--it teaches them the importance of conserving and not wasting. They all said they did NOT want to have to make the felt we were going to cut up (36"x19 yards).
