The forms for parts of the patio: (And looking beyond, the garden and the used truck lot....=))
The concrete truck arriving: Yea! Me, brooming the pattern into the surface of the concrete: (beyond the corner of the house, the orchard--plums)
The finished concrete patio. The closest pad is the one for the hot tub. From the double door to this end of the drop down will be enclosed--for those chilly winder months. Decking material arrives after 2pm on Monday and will be attached all along the reddish-brown ledger out the second floor doors.
The dogs sure seem to like it. Derby has been sleeping on it all day the past few days--she works all night. And, of course, what concrete pad would be complete without foot prints in it--there's Reno, and all but a few dogs....nothing's ever perfect.
all things become broken, it's the process of putting them back together, reconstructing the deconstructed that will bring peace to the individual mending broken wings.
