Carol's bag, after first wash

Someone said to me, once, why don't you put the handles on and then wash/felt it? Well, that's because I've never done it that way--and now I know why! Why is it that when we learn things, we learn them the hard way--why can't learning come from a pleasant experience?

So, I suggest that you never put the handles on and then felt your bag--especially if you've thrown it in with a bunch of jeans, and the legs of the jeans feel that it's their responsibility to mate and conjugate with your purse handles.
