So, here it is, a blog about my work; about the stuff that I do, which helps me stay sane. I saw a T-shirt yesterday which said, "I can go bat-shit crazy or I can knit. Your choice." Which, I do believe that I must have. I have big dreams for this blog. I hope that I will post about most everything that I do, which will then fill you in on what that is--it's too hard to list it all right here right now. For starters, yesterday, I built a niddy-noddy, out of red oak, because I needed one to wind my newly spun yarn off the wee peggy. It took the majority of the day, but, I did it, and it's a beautiful niddy-noddy--the only thing that I found which annoyed me was that the shaft in the middle where you put your hand is a bit small--it gives you a cramp when you hold it for too long. It only cost around 13 dollars, and of course, my time--it really helps having the scene shop right next door. Speaking of the scene shop right next door, I must off to find some coffee.
