all things become broken, it's the process of putting them back together, reconstructing the deconstructed that will bring peace to the individual mending broken wings.

machine quilting
I've been thinking about all the projects that I have going right now: The one that I think of often, yet can never get the gumption to pick up is the sweater that I started for Ducky 3 years ago--I don't even know if I still have the pattern!?!?! I guess that she wouldn't know if I just made up the rest of it.
Today I continued the Christmas present for Mom. I have begun to finally quilt the seal piece that I started with Hollis Chatelaine over 6 years ago. As I began quilting it, I got all nervous that I would ruin it. The painting is so beautiful, and I don't know if the stitching that I'm doing ontop of it will accentuate or distract from it. So far I have done 2 colours of thread on top of it, and it is looking pretty good. I'm not sure that I like the fact that I am making it up as I'm going. I hope that I have the patience to work on this slowly, and not try to get it done too fast--I may have to work on it after this Friday.
